Dr. Fred Moss is a psychiatrist, healer, speaker, and restorative coach who has spent over four decades working inside nearly every corner of modern psychiatry — and then chose to ask a deeper question: What actually heals human beings?
Known to many as “The UnDoctor,” Dr. Moss does not reject medicine — he widens the conversation. His work invites individuals, clinicians, and systems alike to look beyond diagnosis and protocol and return to the core of healing: presence, curiosity, creativity, and authentic human connection. A nationally traveled psychiatrist, Dr. Moss has treated more than 30,000 patients across private practice, telepsychiatry, correctional healthcare, nursing homes, and leadership and consultative roles spanning virtually every psychiatric subspecialty. He has served as a psychiatric consultant to over 40 nursing homes, worked as an expert witness, and founded Mastering TeleHealth, a training service focused on improving virtual care in healthcare organizations. Dr. Moss is the creator of Welcome to Humanity, a global community and philosophical movement, and the developer of the Creative 8™️ and True Voice Methodologies, which use creativity, communication, and self-expression as practical tools for healing and personal transformation. He is the author of Creative 8: Healing Through Creativity & Self-Expression, Find Your True Voice!, and the forthcoming book Welcome to Humanity: On Developing a Revolutionary Yet Completely Obvious Approach to Mental Health in Difficult Times.
He is also a loving husband to his true soulmate, father of two remarkable humans, a lifelong student of growth and development — and a devoted apprentice to his three feline teachers, who continually instruct him in presence, boundaries, and curiosity.
