About Dr. Alcide

Dr. Peterson Alcide moved to the U.S in February 1997 from Haiti at the age of 15. Three years later, he graduated from Danbury High School in CT. He started his secondary studies at Atlantic Union College in the subject of Psychology; then moved on to Michigan to obtain his Masters in Psychology, concentrating in Community Counseling at Andrews University in 2006.

Over the years, Dr. Alcide took on many tasks; he works in the field with mental illness, addiction and other mental issues at several clinics, psychiatric centers and hospitals in CT, NY, MA and currently GA along with a few other states as a licensed therapist. He volunteered several places such as schools and clinics. He taught at Fairfield County SDA – also worked as a Professor of Psychology and Child Development and Communication including Public Speaking at Lincoln College of New England, Toro University and Atlanta Technical College for 7 years. He graduated with a PhD in Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in Forensics Psychology from Yale University in 2012.

In 2017, Dr. Alcide founded OSS Care & Consulting, LLC in Marietta Georgia, where he services the community. In 2020 he switched over to online, allowing him to reach more people in the community.
